
Biography
Born and raised in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Hieu received his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering at Ton Duc Thang University. While there, he worked in Nam Phan’s lab on the catalytic applications of zirconium-based metal-organic frameworks. He joined Do group in 2019 at the University of Houston, with his current projects on developing sustainable synthetic methodology and biocompatible organoiridium complexes. Outside the lab, he enjoys binge-watching k-drama, running, and drinking boba.
